MS Dhoni Launches Eurogrip’s New Adventure Touring Tyre Range in India
New Delhi, Aug 3 (TNT): Eurogrip Tyres, the two and three-wheeler tyre brand of TVS Srichakra Ltd., on Monday launched its premium Trailhound STR adventure touring tyre range in India, marking its entry into the country’s fast-growing adventure motorcycle segment.
Former India cricket captain M.S. Dhoni unveiled the new product range.
In a release, the company said the Trailhound STR has been designed for medium and large adventure motorcycles and is engineered to deliver performance on highways as well as light off-road terrain.
The product was earlier introduced as part of Eurogrip’s global premium portfolio.
TVS Srichakra Chief Operating Officer T.K. Ravi said the company was introducing the international product range in India in view of the growing popularity of adventure motorcycling and would continue bringing global premium products to the domestic market.
Deputy COO and Chief Technology Officer V. Sivaramakrishnan said the Trailhound STR features an optimised 90/10 tread pattern designed to enhance water evacuation, traction and on-road handling while retaining capability for occasional off-road riding.
Speaking at the launch, Dhoni said he was delighted to be associated with the introduction of Eurogrip’s flagship premium motorcycle tyre range in India.
The Trailhound STR will be offered in multiple sizes compatible with motorcycles including the BMW GS310, Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT, BMW F850 GS, Honda Africa Twin, Moto Morini X-Cape 650, Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer and Benelli TRK 502X, the company said.
The launch event also saw the felicitation of winners of the Eurogrip Creator Circuit Contest for their contribution to the riding and creator community.
