Modernised Dispensary Inaugurated at Vaikuntam Queue Complex-II in Tirumala
Tirumala, June 25 (TNT): In a significant step towards enhancing healthcare services for devotees visiting Tirumala for Srivari Darshan, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Thursday inaugurated a modernised dispensary at Vaikuntam Queue Complex-II.
The upgraded facility has been equipped with ECG facilities, oxygen support systems, modern medical equipment and other essential healthcare amenities to ensure prompt and efficient emergency medical care for devotees.
As part of the arrangements, four doctors and 16 paramedical staff members will provide medical services at the dispensary.
A round-the-clock ambulance service has also been stationed to handle medical emergencies and facilitate immediate patient transport when required.
Officials said the modernised dispensary would significantly strengthen the healthcare support system for devotees waiting in the queue complexes and ensure timely medical assistance during emergencies.
Among those present on the occasion were Deputy Executive Officer of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple Sri Lokanatham, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kusumakumari, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Suhar Latha, Ashwini Hospital Superintendent Dr. Subba Reddy, Dr. Padmaja and members of the paramedical staff.
