Kakinada: Anna Canteens food quality being improved continuously: Municipal Addl Commissioner
Kakinada, May 26 (TNT) Food quality at Anna Canteens is being constantly monitored and further improvements would be made based on public feedback, Kakinada Municipal Additional Commissioner K. T. Sudhakar said on Tuesday.
Interacting with the public during his visit to the Anna Canteen at Dairy Farm Centre here, Sudhakar said the government’s objective was to serve people better by providing breakfast and meals at a nominal cost of ₹5.
He said the government was regularly collecting feedback from the public and taking steps to further improve the quality of food being served.
“There should not be any negligence in maintaining hygiene, food quality and timings,” he told the Anna Canteen staff during the inspection.
The Additional Commissioner expressed satisfaction over the maintenance of the Anna Canteen and said improving food quality was a continuous process.
Members of the public present during the inspection also expressed satisfaction over the services being provided at the canteen.
