K. Kannababu takes oath as TTD Specified Authority member
Tirumala, Nov 7 (TNT): K. Kannababu, Secretary to Government Revenue (Endowments) Dept., (FAC), took oath as a member of the TTD Specified Authority on Saturday in Srivari Temple.
The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Bangaru Vakili inside the Srivari Temple in Tirumala.
The TTD Additional EO Sri Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary administered the oath.
Later, Vedic scholars offered Veda Ashirvachanam to Kannababu at the Ranganayakula Mandapam and the Additional EO presented him with Srivari Teertha Prasadams.
Speaking to the media in front of the temple on this occasion, Kannababu said that he considered the opportunity to serve as a member of the TTD Specified Authority a divine blessing bestowed by Sri Venkateswara, the presiding deity of Kaliyuga.
He stated that he would strive to uphold the trust reposed in him by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who appointed him as a member of the Specified Authority, and render his services to the best of his ability.
He further stated that under the leadership of the Chairman of the Specified Authority, he would work with utmost devotion and dedication to promote the religious heritage and spiritual significance of the Srivari Temple across the world.
Srivari Temple Dy EO Bhaskar, Board Cell Dy EO Ms Prashanti and other officials were present.
