Hyderabad, May 5 (TNT): Hyderabad will host the 18th edition of the Hyderabad Jewellery, Pearl and Gem Fair (HJF 2026) at the HITEX Exhibition Centre here on May 8 and 9, bringing together over 350 exhibitors, 750-plus brands and an estimated 8,000 trade buyers.
The two-day event will feature the Jewellery Retail Symposium 2026, a large-format conference focused on the retail segment of the gems and jewellery industry, with over 20 industry leaders participating in panel discussions on technology, retail dynamics, bullion outlook and premiumisation.
A key highlight of the fair will be the Zaveri Bazaar Pavilion, showcasing more than 25 Mumbai-based jewellery manufacturers, aimed at enhancing sourcing opportunities for South Indian retailers.
The exhibition will also include specialised zones such as a Machinery Pavilion, CAD Designer Zone, Silver Pavilion and Filigree Pavilion, catering to evolving industry requirements and innovation in design and manufacturing.
Organisers said the event is strategically timed ahead of the festive and wedding season, enabling retailers and manufacturers to finalise collections, explore new suppliers and align inventories with market demand.
Supported by leading industry bodies, the fair will also host special initiatives including the Shakti Awards, Power of Young and Legends of the South, recognising contributions of entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
According to the World Gold Council, South India accounts for about 40 per cent of India’s total gold jewellery consumption, making Hyderabad a key trade hub for the sector.
