Tirumala, Apr 20 (TNT): A devotee from Hyderabad, Y.K.D. Mallikarjuna Rao, donated a total of ₹1 crore to various trusts of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) here on Monday.
The contributions were made in the names of his family members and distributed across multiple TTD-run trusts:
* ₹25 lakh to Sri Venkateswara Anna Prasadam Trust
* ₹20 lakh to Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshana Trust
* ₹10 lakh to Sri Venkateswara Veda Parirakshana Trust
* ₹25 lakh to Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust
* ₹10 lakh to SV BIRRD Trust
* ₹10 lakh to Sri Venkateswara Vidyadana Trust
The donor handed over the demand drafts to TTD Peshkar Ramakrishna at the Ranganayakula Mandapam within the Tirumala Temple complex.
TTD officials acknowledged the contribution and appreciated the devotee’s generous support towards various religious and charitable initiatives.
