Hyderabad, Apr 29 (TNT): Telangana IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu on Wednesday inaugurated the Global Capability Centre (GCC) of Heineken in Hyderabad’s Financial District, marking a significant addition to the city’s growing ecosystem of global service hubs.
The new facility, operating under Heineken Business Services India, has been set up across 76,000 square feet and will function as a strategic global hub delivering services in finance, digital, technology and analytics.
The company officials said the centre is expected to generate over 300 high-value jobs in its initial phase, with plans to scale up employment to around 1,600 in the coming years.
The development is seen as a boost to Hyderabad’s emergence as a preferred destination for Global Capability Centres, with the state government actively attracting multinational investments in technology-driven services.
With a legacy of over 150 years, Heineken is among the world’s leading brewing companies, with its products available in more than 190 countries and operations spanning over 165 breweries across 70-plus nations.
The new GCC is expected to play a key role in strengthening the company’s global operations while contributing to local employment and economic growth.
