Foolproof Arrangements for Special TET-2026 in Kakinada District: Joint Collector
Addressing a coordination meeting with officials of various departments at the Collectorate here, he said advance arrangements were being made to conduct the computer-based examination for in-service teachers peacefully and transparently.
The examination will be held in two shifts daily, from 9.30 am to noon and from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
Officials have been instructed to inspect the examination centres in advance and ensure the proper functioning of computer systems, internet connectivity and uninterrupted power supply, he said.
Police security will be deployed at the examination centres, while special flying squads comprising officials from the Education, Revenue and Police departments will monitor the conduct of the examination.
Mobile phones, smartwatches and other electronic gadgets will not be permitted inside the examination halls, the Joint Collector said.
Of the total candidates, 3,837 will appear at the Rajiv Gandhi Computing Centre near the Achyuthapuram railway gate, while 625 candidates are scheduled to take the examination at the centre in Chollangi village of Thallarevu mandal, he said.
District Educational Officer P. Ramesh, Deputy DEO K.V.S. Satyanarayana, examination centre in-charges Sastry and Venkatareddy, and other officials attended the meeting.
