EBG Group launches Vajram Electric, an Integrated Manufacturing hub in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, May 27 (TNT): EBG Group, a multi-sector Indian conglomerate, on Wednesday announced the inauguration of Vajram Electric, a centralised manufacturing, assembly and distribution hub in Hyderabad, in a move aimed at strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities and integrated supply chains while generating more than 450 direct and indirect jobs.
The facility, launched with an initial investment of ₹25 crore, will expand from 25,000 sq. ft. to 50,000 sq. ft. over the next year, the company said in a release here.
It is designed to support 11 business verticals of the Group through a unified multi-brand production platform.
Vajram Electric will serve as a production and logistics hub for the Group’s diversified portfolio spanning electric mobility, rehabilitation technology, consumer electronics, construction, food and beverage infrastructure, and sustainable hospitality.
The company currently operates an advanced assembly facility on Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road and functions as a fully integrated production and warehousing campus focused on scale, efficiency and faster market turnaround.
Dr Irfan Khan, Founder of EBG Group, said “This is a defining milestone for EBG Group and a decisive step towards building a manufacturing-led growth engine. Vajram Electric is the strategic backbone of our entire operations.”
He said the company was building a platform capable of supporting multiple high-growth sectors at scale through centralised manufacturing, assembly and distribution, enabling it to compete confidently in domestic and global markets.
Hari Kiran, Co-founder, EBG Group, said integrating manufacturing, warehousing and distribution under one framework would improve operational control, cost optimisation and turnaround times while ensuring uniform quality across all brands.
He added that the facility was being developed around zero-waste manufacturing practices, embedding sustainability into its operations as capacity scales up.
The investment will be deployed in phases towards automation, capacity expansion and systems integration to improve efficiency, reduce turnaround time and maintain consistent quality standards across product lines.
Vajram Electric’s operations are supported by a growing national supply chain network with logistics hubs in Ludhiana, Pune and Ahmedabad, while a fourth facility in Manesar is expected to become operational shortly.
The company said the expansion aligns with India’s broader focus on strengthening domestic manufacturing and electric vehicle ecosystems, reducing import dependence and building globally competitive supply chains.
Leveraging its integrated multi-brand platform, EBG Group aims to capture nearly 10 per cent of India’s EV manufacturing market over the next five years.
