Donors Supporting Education Are True Architects of Social Progress: Telangana Governor

Hyderabad, June 29 (TNT): Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Monday said financial contributions towards education are not merely acts of charity but long-term investments in building an empowered society and a stronger nation.

Addressing the Donors’ Felicitation and Awards Ceremony organised by the RGA Swarna Jayanthi Shiksha Nyas of the Rajasthani Graduates Association (RGA) at the FTCCI Surana Auditorium here, the Governor lauded the organisation for its contribution to education, social service and nation-building over the past six decades.

He appreciated the establishment of the RGA Swarna Jayanthi Shiksha Nyas during the Association’s Golden Jubilee year and said the Trust had provided scholarships worth several crore rupees to thousands of meritorious and economically disadvantaged students without discrimination on the basis of caste, religion or community.

The Governor said support extended by economically privileged sections of society towards the education of underprivileged students helps transform the aspirations of thousands of young people into reality.

Expressing hope that the Rajasthani Graduates Association and the Shiksha Nyas would continue to play a significant role in nation-building through education and social service, he felicitated donors in recognition of their contributions.

Shiksha Nyas Chairman Nandgopal Bhattad, Rajasthani Graduates Association President Gopal Das Sarada and other dignitaries attended the function.
