DK Shivakumar to take oath as CM of Karnataka on June 3

Bengaluru, May 30 (TNT) : Senior Congress leader and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar is scheduled to be sworn in as the 25th Chief Minister of Karnataka on June 3.

Following Siddaramaiah’s resignation amid a power-sharing transition, Shivakumar met with Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot to stake his claim to form the new government.

The swearing-in ceremony is expected to be held at the Glass House in Lok Bhavan
