Hyderabad, Oct 26 (TNT) Defence and aerospace technology solutions provider Digilogic Systems Limited on Monday reported a 150.53 per cent year-on-year increase in net profit to Rs 4.76 crore for the first half of FY27, driven by higher income, improved order execution and better operating margins.

The company’s total income rose 91.25 per cent to Rs 34.96 crore during April-September 2026, compared with Rs 18.28 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, according to its financial results.

EBITDA increased 126.38 per cent to Rs 7.81 crore from Rs 3.45 crore, while profit before tax surged 175.51 per cent to Rs 6.75 crore from Rs 2.45 crore.

Operating income grew 82.51 per cent to Rs 33.18 crore against Rs 18.18 crore in the year-ago period.

The Hyderabad based company attributed the improved performance to better execution of orders on hand, faster order turnaround, a favourable product mix, software value addition and interest income from fixed deposits.

As of October 26, Digilogic’s order book stood at Rs 20 crore, while tenders worth around Rs 54 crore were awaiting finalisation.

Identified business opportunities under progress were valued at approximately Rs 189 crore.

Based on its first-half performance and existing order book and tender pipeline, the company expects revenue growth of 25-30 per cent and growth of 30-35 per cent in both EBITDA and net profit in FY27.

CEO Shashank Varma Jetty said the company was strengthening its research and development capabilities through its wholly owned subsidiary, Abhedhya Systems, which is expected to commence commercial production in the second half of FY29.

He said Project UDAAN was progressing and the company was upgrading technology and implementing standard operating procedures across key functions, with the process expected to be completed between December 2026 and March 2027.

Chairman and Managing Director Madhusudhan Varma Jetty said the increasing role of technology in modern warfare had made testing systems for precision-guided weapons and associated electronic components critical.

Digilogic provides automated test equipment and computer-operated systems to support the design, production and integration of electronic systems used in defence applications, he added.
