CheQ launches UPI payments with rewards for RuPay credit card users
Mumbai, Aug 26 (TNT): Credit card management platform CheQ on Wednesday launched CheQ UPI, enabling users to make UPI payments through bank accounts and RuPay credit cards while earning rewards.
In a release, the company said CheQ UPI is the first platform to offer rewards on UPI transactions made through RuPay-linked credit cards.
CheQ AU RuPay Credit Card users will earn 2.5 per cent rewards on all RuPay credit card UPI transactions, while other RuPay credit card users can earn 1.5 per cent rewards over existing bank rewards.
Rewards can be redeemed for travel bookings, gift cards and bill payments on the CheQ platform, the company said.
CheQ Founder and CEO Aditya Soni said the launch marked the company’s expansion from credit management into everyday digital payments.
CheQ currently has over 4.5 million users, has facilitated more than 25 million transactions and processed over USD 7 billion in payments, according to the company.
