Hyderabad, Apr 26 (TNT): Train No. 12760 Hyderabad–Tambaram Charminar Express was briefly halted at Aler Railway Station in Secunderabad Division of South Central Railway (SCR) on Saturday evening due to a technical issue.
The train, which departed Hyderabad on April 25, was stopped at 19:47 hrs after brake binding was detected in the S5 coach, leading to smoke and sparks from the wheel, SCR said in a release here on Sunday.
The issue was promptly attended to by railway staff, who extinguished the smoke and ensured safety.
The train resumed its journey at 20:10 hrs towards Tambaram after necessary checks.
Officials confirmed that no damage or casualties were reported in the incident.
