Tirumala, Apr 19 (TNT) : On the occasion of the birthday of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Bhashyam Educational Society has donated ₹44 lakh towards the one-day ‘Srivari Annaprasadam’ distribution at Tirumala.
The contribution was made by the Society’s Chairman, B. Ramakrishna, who handed over a Demand Draft to TTD Deputy Executive Officer (Annaprasadam) Rajendra Kumar on Sunday evening at the Additional EO Camp Office in Tirupati.
TTD officials appreciated the gesture, noting that such contributions play a crucial role in sustaining the Annaprasadam programme, which provides free meals to tens of thousands of pilgrims visiting Tirumala every day.
They further observed that acts of charity like this not only support the large-scale feeding initiative but also inspire others to participate in devotional service and contribute towards the welfare of pilgrims.
