Axis Trustee Services opens office in GIFT City to expand fiduciary services
Gandhinagar, July 24 (TNT): Axis Trustee Services Limited (ATSL), a trustee and fiduciary services provider, on Friday inaugurated its new office at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), strengthening its presence in India’s international financial services ecosystem.
The office was inaugurated in the presence of Pradeep Ramakrishnan, Executive Director, International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), Bipin Saraf, Chairman, Axis Trustee Services Limited, and Rahul Choudhary, Managing Director and CEO, Axis Trustee Services Limited.
The expansion will enable ATSL to provide specialised trustee, agency and fiduciary solutions to financial institutions, issuers, fund managers and investors operating within GIFT City for domestic and cross-border transactions, the Trustee said in a release .
The new office will support the company’s growing portfolio across Debt Capital Markets, Facility Agency, Security Trustees, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and Escrow Agency services, while also catering to emerging opportunities in the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) ecosystem.
The inauguration was followed by a roundtable conclave featuring a keynote address by IFSCA Executive Director Pradeep Ramakrishnan.
The event brought together industry participants to discuss opportunities in the IFSC ecosystem, growth of cross-border financial structures and fund platforms, and the importance of governance and fiduciary frameworks in GIFT City’s development.
Speaking on the occasion, Bipin Saraf said GIFT City was emerging as an important gateway for global capital and international financial services, and the company’s presence there reflected its commitment to supporting this growth through governance-led fiduciary solutions and regulatory expertise.
Rahul Choudhary said the expansion would bring the company closer to clients operating within India’s international financial ecosystem and strengthen its ability to provide technology-driven fiduciary solutions amid growing complexity in financial products and cross-border structures.
The company said the expansion comes as GIFT City continues to attract participation from global financial institutions, investment funds and international capital market players.
Through its presence in the IFSC, ATSL aims to support innovative financial structures and deliver governance-focused fiduciary solutions aligned with evolving market and regulatory requirements.
