AP Minister Subhash Distributes Tricycles to Sanitation Workers in Kakinada Dist.

Kakinada, June 10 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Labour Minister Vasamsetti Subhash on Wednesday distributed 16 tricycles to sanitation workers in Kajuluru mandal of Ramachandrapuram constituency in the district to strengthen rural sanitation services and improve waste collection mechanisms.

Addressing after distributing the tricycles sanctioned by the Swachh Andhra Corporation, the Minister said the government was according equal priority to rural sanitation and providing essential equipment to sanitation workers for efficient garbage collection and disposal.

He said sanitation workers play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness in villages and that the provision of tricycles would facilitate quicker collection and segregation of dry and wet waste.

“The government is taking special measures to improve sanitation standards and create a cleaner environment in Kajuluru mandal. By providing necessary facilities to sanitation workers, waste management can be carried out more effectively,” he said.

Of the 16 tricycles distributed, five were allotted to Kajuluru village, one to Andrangi, two to Aryavatam, three each to Dugguduru and Gollapalem, and one each to Jagannadhagiri and Kolanka villages.

The Minister said the tricycles would help sanitation workers collect garbage directly from households and contribute to keeping villages clean and hygienic.

He also called upon residents to share responsibility for maintaining cleanliness and supporting sanitation initiatives in their respective villages.

Agricultural Market Committee Chairman Akkala Riswanth Roy, Tahsildar Geddam Ravindranath Tagore, Mandal Parishad Development Officer J. Rambabu, Janasena Party Mandal President Bonda Venkanna, Kolanka Society President Bonda Venkata Narasimha Naidu and leaders of coalition parties were among those present.
