AMPATH partners with Mygate to expand home diagnostics access in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Oct. 15 (TNT): AMPATH (American Institute of Pathology and Laboratory Sciences Pvt. Ltd.), a diagnostic laboratory chain, has entered into an exclusive association with residential community platform Mygate to expand access to home sample collection and preventive diagnostic services across Hyderabad, covering more than six lakh residents in the first phase.

Under the association, AMPATH will be featured on the Mygate app home screen, enabling residents in participating communities to access diagnostic services, book home sample collection and avail themselves of exclusive health check-up packages.

The initiative aims to improve access to doorstep diagnostic services by allowing residents to book tests through the Mygate platform without having to travel to collection centres, the Institute said in a release on Thursday.

Residents will also be able to access community-specific health check-up offers, obtain information about health camps and explore AMPATH’s diagnostic tests and preventive healthcare services.

AMPATH and Mygate plan to organise 15–20 health check-up camps every month across Hyderabad in residential communities associated with the platform.

The camps will include health awareness programmes, preventive screenings and specialised health initiatives.

Residents will also be offered discounts on 12 comprehensive health packages covering more than 100 tests, along with the facility of home sample collection.

Maneesh Bagai, Chief Operating Officer of AMPATH, said the association would bring diagnostic services closer to residents by combining digital access, home sample collection and community-level health initiatives.

He said the initiative would provide residents with a convenient way to access diagnostic services while strengthening preventive healthcare outreach across the city.

Rohit Jindal, Chief Business Officer and Co-founder of Mygate, said the association would enable residents to discover diagnostic services, request home sample collection and access preventive healthcare initiatives through the platform.

The first phase will cover key locations across Hyderabad. Details of service availability, health packages and camp schedules will be communicated to eligible residents through the Mygate app.
