Air India Express announces largest-ever winter schedule with 585 daily flights
New Delhi, Oct 6 (TNT): Air India Express on Monday announced its largest-ever Winter Schedule 2026, with around 585 daily flights, including up to 150 international departures, and an expanded network covering 65 stations and 220 routes.
The new schedule will come into effect from October 25 and will be rolled out in phases, the airline said.
The airline’s international network will expand from 83 to more than 100 routes, while the overall network will include more than 40 new domestic and international routes.
The expanded operations will comprise around 435 domestic and up to 150 international departures a day, supported by a fleet of more than 105 aircraft.
Air India Express Chairman Nipun Aggarwal said the scale of the Winter Schedule reflected the airline’s confidence in India’s growth and the increasing importance of air connectivity to trade, tourism and economic development.
He said the airline would focus on strengthening connectivity between metros, emerging cities and underserved markets while pursuing disciplined and sustainable growth.
The airline will increase its weekly operations from around 3,150 flights in the Summer 2026 schedule to nearly 4,100 flights in the Winter schedule. One-stop connectivity will also increase from around 1,330 weekly connections to nearly 1,600, it said.
Among the new international routes are Abu Dhabi-Goa (Mopa), Amritsar-Abu Dhabi, Bangkok-Indore, Bangkok-Kochi, Bangkok-Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru-Kathmandu, Chennai-Singapore, Delhi-Riyadh, Dubai-Goa (Dabolim), Kochi-Kuwait, Mumbai-Kuwait and Phuket-Hyderabad.
New domestic routes include Ahmedabad-Delhi, Bengaluru-Coimbatore, Bengaluru-Goa (Mopa), Bengaluru-Jodhpur, Bengaluru-Madurai, Delhi-Jaipur, Delhi-Sri Vijaya Puram, Delhi-Udaipur, Hyderabad-Mangaluru, Hyderabad-Pune, Kolkata-Pune and Mumbai-Nagpur.
The airline currently operates more than 500 daily flights connecting 48 domestic and 17 international destinations across South, Southeast and West Asia, with a fleet of more than 100 Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 aircraft.
