A{ CM Naidu Arrives in Singapore on Two-Day Visit to Boost Investments, Amaravati Development

SINGAPORE, June 14 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu arrived in Singapore on Sunday on a two-day official visit aimed at attracting investments and strengthening collaborations for the development of Amaravati and other key infrastructure projects in the state.

Naidu received a warm welcome from members of the Telugu community and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) upon his arrival.

Several Telugu families gathered at the venue to greet the Chief Minister, who interacted with them and posed for photographs.

During the visit, Naidu is scheduled to hold a series of high-level meetings with government leaders, industry executives, investors and academic representatives to promote Andhra Pradesh as an investment destination.

On June 15, he will meet Shilpak Ambule and participate in a roundtable interaction with startup venture capitalists.

He is also scheduled to attend a luncheon meeting with Anacláudia Rossbach and hold discussions with Low Yen Ling.

The Chief Minister will also meet senior industry and academic leaders, including Karan Bajwa, Lim Siang Guan, Robert Yap and Tan Eng Chye.

Naidu is also scheduled to meet Lawrence Wong to discuss avenues of cooperation between Andhra Pradesh and Singapore. He will hold talks with Vivian Balakrishnan and interact with members of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Andhra Pradesh delegation.

Meetings are also scheduled with K. Shanmugam and Tan See Leng.

On June 16, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the CBN@361 programme organised by the Kakatiya Cultural Association, participate in the APAC Semiconductor Roundtable and attend the Surbana Jurong–Amaravati Planning Meeting.

He will later hold discussions with a delegation led by Gan Kim Yong and address the Leadership Plenary at the World Cities Summit 2026.

The Chief Minister will also visit the World Cities Summit Exhibition, including the Singapore Pavilion, Innovators Alley and Google Technologies exhibits, before attending meetings with Seatrium and participating in the CII Partnership Summit 2026 Business Roadshow.

The visit is aimed at strengthening Andhra Pradesh’s engagement with Singapore, attracting global investments and accelerating the development of Amaravati and other strategic projects in the state.

Naidu is scheduled to return to India on the night of June 16.
