Zigly Celebrates International Happy Pets Day in Hyderabad, Promotes Pet Healthcare
Hyderabad, Aug 2 (TNT): Zigly Pet Care, an omnichannel pet care brand, on Sunday celebrated the third edition of International Happy Pets Day (IHPD) at its Pet Care Experience Centre in Jubilee Hills here, with pet parents participating alongside their dogs and cats.
Held on the occasion of Friendship Day, the event focused on strengthening the bond between pets and their families while promoting awareness about preventive pet healthcare.
The Jubilee Hills centre hosted free pet health check-ups, veterinary consultations, wellness sessions and pet first-aid training programmes.
Veterinary experts also demonstrated emergency first-aid procedures and educated pet owners on handling medical emergencies involving pets.
The celebrations were organised simultaneously across 35 Zigly Pet Care centres in more than 15 cities, drawing participation from over 2,500 pets and 3,500 pet parents nationwide.
The event, organised under the theme “Life is Simply, Undeniably Better Together,” also marked the launch of Pet First Aid Kits and the expansion of advanced veterinary care services across select Zigly centres.
Speaking on the occasion, Zigly Pet Care Chief Executive Officer Saurabh Jain said the initiative was aimed at promoting proactive healthcare and making quality veterinary services more accessible through expanded 24×7 veterinary care and other healthcare initiatives.
The Hyderabad event featured a range of interactive activities, including the Snuffle Mat Challenge, Best Trick Showdown, Pet Bingo, Caricature Corner and a photo booth for pets and their owners.
Organisers said the initiative assumes significance as the number of pet-owning families in Hyderabad continues to grow, helping create awareness on pet health, vaccination, nutrition and the importance of regular veterinary care.
As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, Zigly Pet Care announced that Rs 6 lakh raised through International Happy Pets Day ticket sales would be contributed to the Zigly Foundation.
The funds will be utilised for anti-rabies vaccination drives, deworming programmes, distribution of reflective collars for stray dogs, rescue operations and pet adoption initiatives.
The company said International Happy Pets Day would continue to serve as an annual platform bringing together pet parents, veterinary professionals and animal welfare enthusiasts while encouraging responsible pet ownership and preventive healthcare.
