Telangana’s per capita income grows 10.23 pc, says CM Revanth Reddy
Hyderabad, Aug 1 (TNT): Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday said the state’s per capita income has increased to ₹4,18,931 in 2025-26, registering a 10.23 per cent growth over the previous year.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister said Telangana’s per capita income rose from ₹3,80,031 in 2024-25 to ₹4,18,931 in 2025-26, an increase of ₹38,900 in one year.
Describing Telangana as one of the country’s top-performing states, Revanth Reddy attributed the growth to the Congress government’s focus on economic development, investment promotion, employment generation and balanced growth across sectors.
He said the government had adopted policy-based governance backed by continuous reviews, close monitoring and stakeholder consultations, replacing what he termed “ad hocism”.
The Chief Minister claimed that the government had reversed “a decade of failed governance” and restored optimism in governance and public administration.
Revanth Reddy said women, farmers and youth were the biggest beneficiaries of the government’s initiatives and expressed confidence that Telangana would achieve greater progress in the coming years.
