Hyderabad, Feb 12 (TNT): Senior IAS officer Dr. Buddha Prakash Jyothi on Thursday formally assumed charge as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) at Singareni Bhavan here.
A 2002-batch IAS officer, Dr. Buddha Prakash Jyothi previously served as Secretary to the Scheduled Castes Development Department and also held additional charge as Secretary to the State Planning Department.
He brings with him extensive administrative experience, particularly in regions where Singareni coal mines are located.
Earlier in his career, he served as the District Collector of Adilabad and as Project Officer of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), Bhadrachalam, and gaining wide experience in governance, development, and regional administration.
On his arrival at Singareni Bhavan, Dr. Buddha Prakash Jyothi was received by General Manager (Coordination & Marketing) T. Srinivas, following which he took charge in the Chairman’s office.
