Srinivasa Mangapuram temple gears up for Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavams

Tirupati, July 16 (TNT): The Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram is all set for the annual Sakshatkara Vaibhavotsavams to be held from July 17 to 19, with Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam being performed with religious fervour on Thursday.

The purification ritual began with Suprabhatam, followed by Thomala Seva, Koluvu and Panchanga Sravanam.

The temple premises, including walls, ceilings and puja articles, were thoroughly cleansed between 6 am and 11.30 am.

A sacred mixture containing Sri Churnam, kasturi turmeric, sandalwood, camphor, kumkum and other fragrant ingredients was sprinkled across the temple as part of the traditional purification ceremony.

Devotees were allowed for darshan from 12.30 pm.

As part of the three-day festival, Pedda Sesha Vahanam will be taken out on July 17, Hanumantha Vahanam on July 18 and Garuda Vahanam on July 19.

The vahana sevas will be held from 7 pm to 8 pm along the four Mada Streets surrounding the temple.

On the occasion of Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam, devotee Narasimhulu from Tirupati donated curtains to the temple.

Temple Special Grade Deputy Executive Officer Varalakshmi, Assistant Executive Officer Gopinath, Superintendent Raj Kumar, Temple Inspector Muni Kumar, Arjitham Inspector Dhanasekhar, priests and other temple officials participated in the programme.
