Use Only Official TTD Website for Ticket, Accommodation Bookings: Additional EO
Tirumala, July 15 (TNT): Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary on Wednesday urged devotees to book Srivari darshan, accommodation, Arjitha Sevas and other TTD services only through the official TTD website and avoid middlemen or unauthorised websites.
He cautioned devotees against fake websites, social media misinformation and agents who exploit devotees’ faith by collecting money through illegal means, and appealed to them to remain vigilant against such scams.
The Additional EO said the official TTD website regularly updates information on Srivari darshan, accommodation, seva bookings, ticket releases, availability of cancelled tickets, various darshan categories and current waiting time. He added that authentic information is also disseminated through SVBC.
Devotees seeking information on ticket bookings can contact the TTD Call Centre at 155257 for authentic guidance, he said.
Venkaiah Chowdary advised devotees not to transfer money to middlemen or unauthorised persons under any circumstances or believe their claims regarding bookings.
He requested devotees to immediately report any middlemen, agents or unauthorised persons offering booking services to the TTD Vigilance Complaint Cell at 9866898630, warning that strict legal action would be taken against those involved in such fraudulent activities.
Reiterating TTD’s commitment to transparency in providing Srivari services and ensuring devotees’ safety, the Additional EO appealed to pilgrims to avail all TTD services only through official channels.
