Canara Bank Officials Call on Telangana Governor, Discuss Growth, Strategic Initiatives

Hyderabad, July 8 (TNT): Senior officials of Canara Bank on Thursday called on Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and apprised him of the bank’s business growth and strategic initiatives aimed at promoting financial inclusion, digital transformation and sustainable economic development.

Canara Bank Chief General Manager (Strategy, Resources and Government Services Wing) Alok Kumar Agarwal and Hyderabad Circle Chief General Manager Kalyan Mukherjee met the Governor at Raj Bhavan.

During the meeting, the officials briefed the Governor on the bank’s business performance and initiatives undertaken to expand financial inclusion, accelerate digital banking services and support economic growth.

The interaction also focused on strengthening institutional engagement and fostering closer collaboration between the bank and the State in the future, the bank said in a statement.
