SCR General Manager Reviews Station Redevelopment Works During Inspection

Hyderabad, July 9 (UNI): South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava on Thursday conducted a detailed inspection of Shankarpalli, Nagalapalli, Hi-Tech City and Kacheguda railway stations, besides carrying out a rear window inspection between Secunderabad and Shankarpalli to review operational and infrastructure aspects.

Accompanied by Secunderabad Divisional Railway Manager R. Gopalakrishnan and other senior railway officials, the General Manager reviewed signalling systems, track conditions, sectional speeds and inspected a minor bridge between Nagalapalli and Shankarpalli stations.

At Shankarpalli railway station, Srivastava reviewed passenger amenities and assessed the progress of ongoing station redevelopment works.

He also inspected Nagalapalli station, examining passenger facilities, the foot over bridge, circulating area, station building, newly constructed ramp and a nearby level crossing gate.

The General Manager later inspected the Hi-Tech City railway station, which is being redeveloped at a cost of Rs 26 crore under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

He reviewed the 12-metre-wide foot over bridge, platforms, circulating area, Station Master’s room, signalling system and safety equipment.

Subsequently, accompanied by Hyderabad Divisional Railway Manager Santosh Kumar Verma and other senior officials, Srivastava inspected Kacheguda railway station.

He reviewed passenger amenities on Platform No. 1, inspected the foot over bridge and visited the station’s second entrance towards Golnaka, where he discussed station upgradation plans with officials.
