VIP Break Darshans at Tirumala cancelled on select dates till Sept 30

Tirumala, July 8 (TNT): The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) on Wednesday announced the cancellation of VIP Break Darshans at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple on select dates between July and September 30 in view of various religious festivals and temple events.

According to TTD, VIP Break Darshans will remain suspended on July 14 (Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam), July 17 (Anivara Asthanam), July 19 (Pedda Maryada to the Swamiji of Sri Andavan Ashramam), July 29 (Chaturmasya Sankalpam of the Tirumala Jeeyar Swamijis), August 22 (Ankurarpanam for Pavitrotsavams), August 24 (Pavitra Samarpana during Pavitrotsavams), September 8 (Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam in connection with Srivari Brahmotsavams), September 14 (Ankurarpanam for Srivari Brahmotsavams) and from September 15 to 23 during the annual Srivari Brahmotsavams.

TTD also said that VIP recommendation letters will not be accepted on the day preceding each of the above dates, except those pertaining to Protocol dignitaries.

The temple body advised devotees to take note of the restrictions while planning their pilgrimage to Tirumala and sought their cooperation.
