Tirupati, July 8 (TNT): Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra on Wednesday unveiled the wall posters for the annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Soumyanatha Swamy Temple at Nandalur in YSR Kadapa district.
The posters were released at the TTD Administrative Building in Tirupati.
Speaking on the occasion, the EO said the annual Brahmotsavams will be held from July 21 to 31. The festivities will commence with Ankurarpanam on July 21, followed by Dwajarohanam on July 22.
The major events include Garuda Vahanam on July 26, Kalyanotsavam on July 28, Rathotsavam on July 29, Chakrasnanam on July 30 and Pushpayagam on July 31.
Ravichandra directed officials to ensure comprehensive arrangements for the festival, including illumination, floral decorations, queue management, sanitation, mobile toilets, first-aid centres, ambulance services, fire safety measures, parking facilities and cultural programmes during the Vahana Sevas.
He appealed to devotees to participate in large numbers and seek the blessings of the presiding deity.
The deity will bless devotees on different Vahanams every day at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. during the Brahmotsavams.
The Arjita Kalyanotsavam will be conducted on July 28 at 10 a.m. Couples can participate by paying ₹500 and will receive prasadam, an uttariyam and a ravika.
TTD said devotional and cultural programmes will be organised daily during the festival by the Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad, Annamacharya Project and Dasa Sahitya Project.
