ISB admits 132 students to PGP Young Leaders programme for 2026-28
Hyderabad, July 7 (TNT): The Indian School of Business (ISB) on Tuesday said it has admitted 132 students to the 2026-28 batch of its Post Graduate Programme in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL), with nearly a quarter of the cohort receiving tuition waivers.
In a release,the business school said 24 per cent of the incoming class has been awarded financial support, including 17 full-tuition waivers and 14 half-tuition waivers, as part of its efforts to make management education more accessible.
The new batch has an average age of 23 years, with women accounting for 48 per cent of the cohort. Students from engineering backgrounds make up 47 per cent of the class, while participants bring between zero and two years of work experience across sectors including consulting, banking, healthcare, operations, technology, engineering and entrepreneurship.
According to ISB, the admissions process was highly selective.
The incoming class has an average CAT percentile of 99.09, an average GMAT Classic score of 725, an average GMAT Focus score of 684 and an average GRE score of 330.
The institute said the cohort also includes national and state-level sportspersons, entrepreneurs, technology innovators, scholarship recipients and professionals with achievements in fields ranging from sports to entrepreneurship and technology competitions.
“We are delighted to welcome the PGP YL Class of 2026-28 to ISB. This cohort reflects the exceptional talent, ambition and diversity that define the next generation of leaders,” Associate Dean (Admissions and Careers) Prof. Pranav Jindal said.
He said the programme aims to equip young professionals with management, technology, leadership and analytical skills required to lead in an evolving business environment through a rigorous curriculum, industry engagement and global exposure.
The 20-month PGP YL programme is designed for recent graduates and professionals with up to two years of work experience.
ISB said students from the inaugural batch completed summer internships with companies including McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Accenture, Jefferies, Mastercard, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Colgate-Palmolive, Amazon and the Aditya Birla Group.
