Kakinada Collector orders removal of unauthorized flexes

Kakinada , June 16 (TNT):  Kakinada District Collector M N Harendhira Prasad on Tuesday issued orders to  all the municipal commissioners to remove  all the flexes unauthorizedly displayed  on road dividers and junctions causing inconvenience  to the public .

He said the flexes were installed on the  poles amidst the roads and heavy traffic road junctions obstructing the visibility of vehicle drivers and also the pedestrians as well , causing  road accidents. More over they are spoiling the beauty of the city and lot of complaints were pouring in from various sections of the people on these hazardous flexes’ he added.

Further, the Collector asked the commissioners  to clear the city of all the unauthorized and hazardous flexes and collect the removal charges from those  displayed the flexes.

He also instructed the Commissioners to levy heavy penalties on those arranging the flexes unauthorizedly.

The Collector warned the people if put up flexes unauthorizedly stringent action would be initiated against them.
