Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations Donate Bicycles to Rural Girl Students in Visakhapatnam Dist.

Visakhapatnam, June 7 (TNT): The Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Visakhapatnam District, on Sunday distributed 10 BSA Ladybird bicycles to girl students from Koyyapeta village in Padmanabham Mandal, enabling them to pursue their education with greater convenience and confidence.

The bicycles were provided with the blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba as part of the organisation’s ongoing service activities aimed at promoting education and supporting rural youth.

According to a release, all the beneficiaries are students of the Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vikas programme and had been facing significant difficulties in commuting to their educational institutions.

The students were required to walk several kilometres daily from Koyyapeta village to Chinnapuram Junction before boarding buses or auto-rickshaws to reach their schools and colleges.

Recognising the hardships faced by the students, Gurunatha Rao, Bal Vikas Guru and Convener of the Reddypalli Bhajan Mandali, brought the issue to the attention of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations.

Responding promptly, the Visakhapatnam District unit arranged and distributed the bicycles, helping the students reduce travel time and continue their education without the burden of a long and arduous commute.

The organisation said the initiative reflects Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s message of selfless service and its commitment to supporting education and empowering children from rural communities.

The bicycle distribution programme was attended by District President P.R.S.N. Naidu, District Service Coordinator R.A. Naidu, City Samithi Convener B. Sai Kumar, Zone In-charge M. Sathya Sai Kumar, Gram Seva In-charge D. Apparao and Gurunatha Rao, Convener of the Reddypalli Bhajan Mandali.

The beneficiaries and their family members expressed gratitude to the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations for the timely assistance, stating that the bicycles would significantly ease the students’ daily travel and help them pursue their educational aspirations more effectively.

The initiative is expected to contribute to improving access to education for rural girl students and encourage them to continue their studies without transportation-related constraints.
