AP CM Naidu Naidu to attend National Marine Seafood Exports Conference in Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam, June 4 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit Visakhapatnam on June 5 to participate in the National Conference on Marine Seafood Exports, a key industry event expected to deliberate on strategies to boost India’s seafood exports and strengthen the country’s position in global markets.
According to Visakhapatnam District Collector Abhishikth Kishore, the conference will be attended by Union Ministers, senior government officials, industry leaders and stakeholders from the marine exports sector.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to arrive in Visakhapatnam from Tadepalli by helicopter on Thursday morning and participate in the conference proceedings.
The event is expected to focus on enhancing India’s marine exports, expanding global market access, promoting value addition and addressing challenges confronting seafood exporters.
Following the conference, Naidu will review activities related to the Visakha Economic Region and discuss ongoing industrial and infrastructure development initiatives with senior officials.
Ahead of the Chief Minister’s visit, District Collector Abhishikth Kishore and Visakhapatnam Police Commissioner Shankabrata Bagchi conducted a coordination meeting with officials and directed all departments to make elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the programmes scheduled on June 5 and June 8.
Officials were instructed to ensure foolproof security, traffic regulation, protocol arrangements and logistical support, particularly in view of the participation of Union Ministers and other dignitaries.
The Collector said the Chief Minister would also visit Visakhapatnam again on June 8 to participate in a series of official programmes, including the groundbreaking ceremony of the APIS Technology Semiconductor Unit.
The visit is expected to underline the Andhra Pradesh government’s focus on promoting exports, attracting investments and accelerating industrial development in the Visakhapatnam region.
