Finolex Cables Appoints Mahesh Viswanathan as CEO
Pune, Jun 1 (TNT): Finolex Cables Limited, one of India’s leading manufacturers of electrical and communication cables, has appointed Mahesh Viswanathan as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
A Chartered Accountant with more than four decades of professional experience, Viswanathan has been associated with the company for over 17 years and has played a key role in strengthening its financial and operational framework, supporting business expansion and contributing to its long-term growth strategy.
The appointment comes at a crucial phase for the company as it seeks to consolidate its position in the electrical and communication cables sector while expanding its footprint in emerging segments such as consumer electrical products, smart home solutions and allied categories.
Commenting on his appointment, Viswanathan said Finolex Cables had built a strong legacy based on trust, quality and innovation over several decades.
“I am honoured to take on this responsibility and lead the company at a time of significant opportunity. Our focus will be on strengthening our core businesses, expanding into high-growth categories, driving operational excellence and delivering greater value to customers, partners, shareholders and employees,” he said.
