AP CM Naidu Congratulates Satwik-Chirag on Singapore Open Triumph

Amaravati, May 31 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday congratulated Indian badminton stars Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty on winning the KFF Singapore Badminton Open 2026 Men’s Doubles Championship, describing their achievement as a moment of pride for the nation.

In a message posted on social media platform X, the Chief Minister said he was “absolutely proud” of the duo’s historic triumph and lauded their dedication, perseverance and excellence.

“Your remarkable victory and dominant performance reflect your dedication, perseverance and excellence. You continue to make India proud on the global stage and inspire millions of young athletes across the country,” Naidu said.

The Chief Minister made special mention of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, who hails from Andhra Pradesh, and said the state was proud of its star shuttler for bringing further laurels through the outstanding achievement.

“We are especially proud of our own Andhra Pradesh star, Satwiksairaj, who has once again brought great laurels to the state through this outstanding achievement,” he said.

Congratulating the pair on their memorable victory, Naidu wished them continued success and many more milestones in the years ahead.
