Tirupati: Grand Kanchi Garuda seva held in Nagalapuram
Tirupati, May 30 (TNT): The annual Kanchi Garuda Seva was celebrated with religious fervour at Sri Vedanarayana Swamy Temple, Nagalapuram near here, on Saturday.
The tradition is observed in connection with the renowned Garuda Seva of Sri Varadaraja Swamy Temple in Kanchipuram.
As part of the festivities, Sri Vedanarayana Swamy, adorned in splendid decorations, was taken in a grand procession on Garuda Vahanam through the village streets and blessed devotees.
Amid Vedic chants and traditional musical performances, a large number of devotees participated in the divine event and received the blessings of the Lord.
Temple Inspector Sri Srinivasulu, priests, officials, and devotees took part in the programme.
