TDP Remains an Ever-Vibrant and Disciplined Party: AP State Prez Palla Srinivasa Rao

Amaravati, May 27 (TNT): Ruling Telugu Desam Party State President Palla Srinivasa Rao on Wednesday said that Telugu Desam Party continues to remain an ever-vibrant and disciplined political party that provides opportunities to every party worker.

Addressing the first day of the 2-day Mahanadu 2026, Palla said that along with the party’s central office, leaders and cadre from 1,875 digital clusters across Andhra Pradesh participated in the conclave.

He said this year’s Mahanadu was being organised through digital platforms as part of nationwide cost-saving measures necessitated by the impact of the West Asia conflict.

He added that party workers from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and several countries abroad were participating digitally in the programme.

Describing Mahanadu as a platform that reflects the unity of TDP leaders and cadre, he said the conclave should be utilised to deliberate on the party’s journey, future course of action and other key issues.

He noted that lakhs of party leaders and workers were connected through Mahanadu 2026, which is being held in a hybrid format.

Palla observed that while many political parties had emerged and disappeared over time in the country, the TDP had sustained itself as a strong and disciplined organisation.

He said the party had allotted all nominated posts to party workers within 23 months of assuming power and assured that more opportunities would be provided in the future.

Referring to the State’s development agenda, he said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had prepared the Vision 2047 plan to transform Andhra Pradesh into “Swarna Andhra” (Golden Andhra).

Highlighting the party’s encouragement to youth leadership, he said 63 per cent representation in the party was being given to young leaders.

He cited the examples of Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu becoming a Member of Parliament at the age of 26 and later a Union Minister, and Ganti Harish becoming an MP at the age of 27.

He also recalled that senior leaders such as Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu and Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao had emerged as prominent leaders at a young age within the party.
