IHCL Opens Ginger Hotel in Hyderabad’s Genome Valley

Hyderabad, May 25 (TNT): Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, on Monday announced the opening of Ginger Hyderabad, Genome Valley, strengthening its presence in the city’s growing life sciences and biotechnology corridor.

The hotel has been launched under Ginger’s “lean luxe” positioning aimed at catering to the evolving needs of corporate and business travelers, the company said in a release.

IHCL Executive Vice President – New Businesses and Hotel Openings Deepika Rao said the midscale hospitality segment was witnessing strong demand from travellers seeking efficient, accessible and contemporary accommodation options.

She said the opening of Ginger Hyderabad, Genome Valley reflected the company’s strategy to expand the brand across key commercial and business corridors.

Located in the heart of Hyderabad’s life sciences hub, the hotel offers 75 rooms designed to suit modern travellers.

The property also features Ginger’s signature dining outlet “Qmin” and meeting spaces suitable for small corporate gatherings.

Terminus Group Chairman and Managing Director S.P. Reddy said Genome Valley had emerged as a major hub for life sciences and innovation and the new hotel was expected to meet the growing hospitality demand in the region.

He said the property marked the first of 10 Ginger hotels proposed to be developed in southern India under a framework agreement.

Hyderabad, a key economic centre is a leading destination for technology, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology industries. Genome Valley is home to a cluster of global and domestic life sciences companies, research institutions and manufacturing facilities.
