WE Hub Builds strong Academia–Industry bridge with ‘Campus to Career’ rollout in Telangana

Hyderabad, Feb 4 (TNT): Signalling a shift from degree-centric education to outcome-driven learning, WE Hub has signed MoUs with over 20 academic institutions across Telangana to implement its Campus to Career programme, aimed at preparing women students for real-world careers.

The initiative focuses on addressing a key challenge in higher education employability.

Through structured collaboration with colleges and universities,

WE Hub will embed industry exposure, mentorship, leadership development, and skill-based learning into regular academic frameworks, enabling women students to transition smoothly from classrooms to professional roles.

The MoUs cover a wide spectrum of institutions, including engineering colleges, universities, management schools, law and pharmacy colleges, and exclusive women’s institutions from Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts. This wide institutional participation highlights growing recognition among academia of the need to align curriculum outcomes with evolving industry demands.

The Campus to Career programme is being delivered through WE Enable, WE Hub’s flagship urban student initiative.

Unlike conventional skilling programmes, WE Enable emphasises experiential learning, professional mentorship, and problem-solving capabilities, equipping students with both technical competence and workplace confidence.

Commenting on the initiative, Sita Pallacholla, CEO of WE Hub, said the programme translates policy intent into practical outcomes by ensuring that women students are industry-ready at the time of graduation.

She added that empowering young women with exposure and employability skills is critical to building a future-ready and inclusive workforce in Telangana.

With these MoUs, WE Hub has significantly expanded its Urban Student vertical, positioning academic institutions as long-term partners in workforce development.

The initiative reinforces the state’s focus on youth skilling and women’s economic participation, while creating a scalable model that links higher education directly with employment and leadership opportunities.
