PM Modi Inaugurates 1500-bed Sindhu Hospital in Hyderabad, Praises Focus on Technology and Innovation

Hyderabad, May 10 (TNT): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday inaugurated Sindhu Hospital, a cancer-focused multi-super speciality quaternary care not-for-profit institution in Hyderabad.

Spread across 2.1 million square feet over 18 floors, the hospital has a capacity of 1,500 beds, more than 150 consultation rooms and 29 advanced operation theatres.

Following the inauguration, the Prime Minister praised the institution’s emphasis on advanced healthcare technology and innovation.

In a post on X, Modi said, “Inaugurated the Sindhu Hospital in Hyderabad. It’s a laudable effort to improve healthcare infrastructure in the city and surrounding areas. The emphasis on integrating latest technology and innovation by the hospital team is appreciable.”

Bandi Parthasaradhi Reddy, Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament and Founder and Chairman of Sindhu Hospitals as well as the Hetero Group, was present on the occasion.

The hospital is expected to strengthen specialised healthcare services in Hyderabad and neighbouring regions with a focus on cancer treatment and advanced medical care.
