Mahabubnagar (Telangana), Feb 3 (TNT): Nitin Nabin, National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), will undertake his maiden visit to Telangana on February 4, shortly after assuming charge as the party’s national chief.
The visit assumes political significance as it comes amid the ongoing Municipal elections in the state, with the BJP stepping up its grassroots mobilisation.
As part of his tour programme, Nitin Nabin will arrive at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, at around 1:00 PM, and proceed to Mahabubnagar at 1:30 PM.
During his visit, the BJP National President will address Booth-level and Mandal-level party karyakartas at MVS Degree College Grounds, Christianpalli, from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM.
The interaction is expected to energise the party cadre and outline the BJP’s strategic roadmap for strengthening its organisational base in Telangana.
After the meeting, Nitin Nabin will depart Mahabubnagar at 4:15 PM and is scheduled to return to RGI Airport, Shamshabad, by around 5:45 PM.
Party leaders said the maiden visit underscores the BJP high command’s focus on Telangana and reflects the importance being accorded to local body elections as a foundation for future electoral battles in the state.
