Tirupati, May 1 (TNT): : The Golden Chariot procession of Goddess Padmavathi was held grandly on Friday morning as part of the Vasanthotsavams at Tiruchanoor.
The Goddess was seated on the golden chariot and blessed devotees amid chants of “Govinda” and a spiritual atmosphere.
After Vedic rituals, the processional deity was taken on the chariot through the four mada streets. A large number of women devotees enthusiastically pulled the chariot and offered harathi.
Temple officials, priests, and a large number of devotees participated.
