Amaravati, Apr 30 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will participate in the ‘Pedala Sevalo’ programme at Pamidimukkala in Pamarru constituency of Krishna district on Friday, where he will interact with beneficiaries of the NTR Bharosa pension scheme and construction workers on the occasion of May Day.
According to official sources, pensions amounting to Rs 63,158 crore have been disbursed to the poor under the NTR Bharosa scheme since the formation of the present coalition government.
In Krishna district alone, about 2.34 lakh beneficiaries receive pensions every month, amounting to Rs 102 crore.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to arrive at Veerankilaku village in Pamidimukkala mandal at 10:15 AM and reach Pamidimukkala at 10:25 AM, where he will address a public meeting.
He will later visit NTR Colony to personally distribute pensions and interact with beneficiaries.
Naidu will subsequently return to Veerankilaku village and interact with construction workers at 12:45 PM as part of May Day observances.
Later in the day, at 1:55 PM, he will hold a review meeting with TDP leaders and party workers from Pamarru constituency.
At 3:50 PM, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the L V Prasad Eye Institute facility at Gudlavalleru before returning to the camp office by 4:45 PM.
