Bugga utsavam begins grandly at Govindaraja Swamy temple in Tirupati
Tirupati, Apr 28 (TNT) : The three-day Bugga Utsavam commenced on a grand note at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple here on Tuesday.
The rituals began with Suprabhatam followed by Viswaroopa Darshan.
Later, the processional deities of Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi were taken to the Bugga.
Snapana Thirumanjanam, Samarpana and Asthanam were performed from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
In the evening, Unjal Seva and Asthanam were held at Sri Mahalakshmi Ammavari Mandapam, followed by a procession to the Bugga, offering darshan to devotees.
Superintendent Chiranjeevi, Temple Inspector Dhananjaya, officials, priests and a large number of devotees participated.
