Amaravati, Apr 15 (TNT): Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, Nara Lokesh, on Wednesday announced that the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) March 2026 results recorded the highest pass percentage in the last 12 years, reflecting significant improvement in academic performance across the state.
According to the results, the pass percentage for first-year students stood at 77%, while second-year students achieved 81%, marking the second-highest performance in the past 12 years.
Highlighting the progress in government institutions, Lokesh stated that Government Junior Colleges (GJCs) recorded notable gains.
The first-year pass percentage in GJCs reached 54%, the highest in 12 years, while the second-year pass percentage stood at 68%, the second-highest in the same period.
The Minister attributed the achievement to the collective efforts of students, principals, junior lecturers, and all stakeholders committed to academic excellence.
Encouraging students who did not clear the exams, he urged them not to lose confidence and to treat the setback as a stepping stone for future success.
He also appealed to parents, colleges, and society to provide emotional support to students during this critical phase.
Lokesh conveyed his best wishes to all students for their future endeavours, encouraging them to continue learning, growing, and striving for success.
