Tirumala, Apr 13 (TNT): The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has removed an outsourcing employee after he was found collecting money from devotees at a luggage deposit centre in Tirumala.
In a statement on Monday, TTD said the individual, identified as Narasimha Reddy, was immediately relieved of his duties after the incident came to light.
The temple body clarified that luggage deposit services at Tirumala are provided completely free of cost and no devotee is required to pay any charges.
TTD urged devotees to remain vigilant and report any such violations. Complaints can be lodged with the TTD Vigilance Control Room at 9866898630.
The administration warned that strict action will be taken against anyone found indulging in unauthorised collection of money from devotees.
