Tata Lockheed Martin Aerostructures Meets Telangana CM, Eyes Investments in State

Hyderabad, Apr 8 (TNT): Tata Lockheed Martin Aerostructures Limited Managing Director Tim Riffle called on Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy here on Wednesday and discussed the company’s expansion plans and investment interests in the state.

During the meeting, Lockheed Martin informed the Chief Minister about its plans to establish a ‘C-130J Super Hercules’ final assembly line in India, marking a significant development in the country’s aerospace and defence manufacturing sector, an official release from CMs office said here.

The company also highlighted its agreement with Hyderabad-based Tata Advanced Systems Limited for the production of ‘F-16 wings’ in India to cater to international requirements.

Tim Riffle conveyed Lockheed Martin’s keen interest in exploring investment opportunities in Telangana, underscoring the state’s growing prominence as a hub for aerospace and defence industries.

Welcoming the move, the Chief Minister reiterated the state government’s support for global companies looking to invest in Telangana’s industrial ecosystem.

Minister for Revenue Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy also present.
