Hyderabad, Apr 6 (TNT): The 47th Foundation Day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was celebrated on a grand scale at the party’s state headquarters in Hyderabad on Monday.
Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao, who hoisted the party flag, called upon party workers to act as the voice of the people and safeguard democracy.
Addressing the gathering, he urged cadre to contribute towards building a strong and self-reliant “Viksit Bharat” under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said the BJP has emerged as the world’s largest political force due to the dedication and sacrifices of its workers.
Rao said the occasion was not just for celebration but to reaffirm commitment to the party’s ideology of “Nation First.”
He added that the party continues to move forward on the foundations laid by leaders such as Syama Prasad Mukherjee, Deendayal Upadhyaya and Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Several senior leaders, including Bandaru Dattatreya, Muralidhar Rao and other party representatives, attended the event.
Meanwhile, BJP National President Nitin Nabin extended greetings to the state leadership and party workers on the occasion.
He expressed confidence that the BJP would continue to strengthen in Telangana and emerge victorious in the upcoming elections.
He said the party is emerging as a key alternative in Telangana and urged leaders and workers to connect with people and seek their support.
On the occasion of the party’s Foundation Day, National President BJP OBC Morcha &MP Dr K Laxman, who hoisted the party flag at Hosur in Krishnagiri distric (Tamil Nadu), said the Foundation Day reaffirms the party’s commitment to its ideals and dedication to serving the nation with renewed energy and purpose.
The event was attended by former Corporator Nagaraju and OBC Morcha President Dr Veera Thirunavukkarasu, along with party workers.
