Hyderabad, Apr 2 (TNT): The valedictory function of the 49th Higher Air Command Course (HACC) was held at the College of Air Warfare (CAW), Secunderabad here on Wednesday.
The flagship annual course of CAW, which commenced on June 23 last year, witnessed participation from officers of the rank of Group Captain and equivalent from all three services.
The course is designed to prepare officers for senior command and staff appointments by enhancing their understanding of the operational and strategic employment of aerospace power, integrated operations, and providing broad exposure to other elements of national power.
Air Marshal Manish Khanna, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Air Command, Indian Air Force, was the Reviewing Officer for the function.
In his valedictory address, he underscored the importance of jointmanship and integration. He congratulated the participants and commended CAW for conducting professional military education for the three services in an exemplary manner.
The Air Marshal also released the CAW and HACC Journal for 2026.
The Air Chief Marshal LM Katre Trophy for Best Overall Performance was awarded to Group Captain Danpreet Paul Singh Bali.
The Commandant’s Trophy for Excellence in Academics and the Air Marshal KB Singh Trophy for Best Individual Research Paper were both awarded to Colonel S. Pradeep.
