Royal Enfield Logs Record 1.23 Million Sales in FY26, Up 23%

Chennai, April 1 (TNT): Royal Enfield on Wednesday reported its highest-ever annual sales, crossing 1.23 million units in FY26, marking a 23 per cent growth over the previous financial year.

The company sold a total of 12,38,659 units during FY26, including domestic sales of 11,07,343 units and exports of 1,31,316 units, reflecting strong performance across markets in over 80 countries.

In March 2026, sales rose 11 per cent year-on-year to 1,12,334 units, the company said in a release here.

The company said the record performance was driven by sustained demand in both domestic and international markets, supported by its expanding product portfolio and growing customer ecosystem.

Managing Director of Eicher Motors and CEO of Royal Enfield B. Govindarajan said the company achieved its highest-ever annual performance while celebrating 125 years of operations.

He said Royal Enfield remains focused on expanding its global footprint, particularly in high-potential markets such as Brazil, while continuing to strengthen its rider community.

As part of its growth strategy, the company has announced a capacity expansion at its Cheyyar facility in Tamil Nadu with an investment of ₹958 crore. The brownfield project will increase annual production capacity from 14.6 lakh units to 20 lakh units.

During the year, the company also showcased new models including the Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition, Himalayan Mana Black Edition and Bullet 650, along with its Flying Flea portfolio, as part of its product expansion strategy.

Looking ahead, Royal Enfield plans to introduce new platforms and models, including the Flying Flea C6, to further strengthen its position in the global mid-size motorcycle segment.
